XR2C2 Artistic Research Residency 2026 – International Call

The XR2C2 Center (eXtended Reality Research and Creation Center) of Université Côte d’Azur launches its call for applications for the 2026 XR Research and Creation Residency.

This residency is intended for experienced artists, creators, and researchers developing a project in virtual, augmented, or mixed reality, immersive installation, XR performance, or 360° technologies.

The residency includes:
  • 8 to 12 weeks in Cannes (Georges Méliès Campus),
  • financial support of €3,000 to €6,000,
  • access to XR2C2 technical platforms,
  • the possibility of accommodation (subject to availability),
  • additional production budget depending on the project.
The project must be carried out between September 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027 and must result in a public presentation.
